Bulk & Wholesale

    Procurement FAQ

Everything a buyer needs before raising an internal requisition — minimums, payment, artwork, proofing and lead times. If something is not answered here, email michael@mycustomcoloringbooks.com and we will answer within one business day.

You pay nothing until you are satisfied

Design, unlimited revisions, the digital proof, and a physical printed sample shipped to you are all free. We work at risk until you place the bulk order. Payment is due in full before printing and shipping — nothing goes into production before then.

    Ordering & Minimums

    What is the minimum order?
Bulk pricing starts at 10 books. There is no hard minimum beyond that, and no maximum — tell us the quantity you need and we will quote it.
What exactly is in each book?
A custom cover plus 12 interior coloring pages, saddle-stitch bound in a branded cover wrap. You control the title, the cover, and the back cover, which can carry a welcome note, a QR code, a phone number, or anything else that earns its place.
Can every book be different, or do they all have to be the same?
Either. We produce runs where all copies are identical, runs where a shared design carries a personalized element such as a name, and runs where every copy is built around a different person or family. All three are normal work. They are not the same amount of work, so the approach you choose affects the quote.
Can you ship to multiple addresses?
Yes. Splitting a run across several properties, offices or sites is routine. Send the addresses and the quantity for each and we will build it into the quote rather than discovering it later.

    Pricing & Payment

How much does it cost per book?
We quote every project individually rather than publishing a rate card. Per-unit cost moves with quantity, how much personalization each book carries, your timeline, and where the books ship — a single published number would be wrong for most buyers. Send a quantity and a date and you will have a firm figure within one business day.
What do you need from us to produce a quote?
Four things: quantity (a range is fine), whether books are identical or individually personalized, when you need them, and where they ship. You do not need artwork, a brief, or a decision on themes to get a number.
    When is payment due?
Payment is due in full before printing and shipping. Nothing goes into production before payment clears. Everything up to that point — design, revisions, the digital proof, and the physical sample — costs you nothing.
What does it cost to get a sample?
Nothing. For bulk orders the physical sample is free, as is the digital proof and every round of revision before it. You pay only when you place the bulk order.
    Are revisions charged separately?
No. Revisions are included and we do not cap the number of rounds. You are never billed for changing your mind during the design stage.

    Artwork & Approval

What do you need from us to start designing?
A logo and a website is usually enough. We can draw a property, its surroundings and nearby landmarks from your own photography and public imagery. If you have brand guidelines, specific scenes in mind, or particular photos you want reflected, send them and we will work to them.
Do we see the book before committing?
Twice. You approve a digital proof by email, and then we print and ship a single physical copy so you can check the paper, the binding and the print in hand. Only after that does a bulk run go to production.
How many rounds of feedback do we get?
As many as you need. We turn around feedback on a design within 48 hours, revisions are included, and the design is finished when you say it is.
    Who owns the artwork?
The books are produced for you and feature your subject. If you have specific requirements about artwork ownership or reuse rights, raise them with your quote and we will put the arrangement in writing before you commit.

    Timelines

How long does the whole process take?
About two months on average, from starting the design to the bulk order arriving. Roughly two weeks to an approved digital sample, about two weeks for the physical sample to reach you, and about three weeks to print and ship the run depending on quantity.
Which part of the timeline can we control?
The design stage, and it is the only elastic one. It is driven entirely by how many rounds of feedback you want. Consolidating notes into one thorough round rather than sending them in pieces is the single biggest thing that shortens a project. The physical sample and the print run take what they take.
We have a fixed date. Can you hit it?
Tell us the date and we will answer honestly before you commit to anything. If it is achievable we will say so; if it is tight we will tell you which corners can be cut and which cannot. We would rather turn down a deadline than miss one.
How quickly do you respond to inquiries?
Within one business day, including quotes.
